Became an Award-Winning Author 2026

I’m Katie O’Brien Ceccarini, Founder of Endurance Management Coaching, award-winning author of Fearless Feedback, and a Certified Leadership & Executive Coach.

As a kid, I wanted to work for the FBI or become a marine biologist. Instead, I ended up running tutoring centers for PK-10th grade — managing the business in the morning, teaching kids and staff in the afternoon.

At 22, I became a first-time manager with no training and no idea what I was doing. I didn't know it yet, but developing managers and leaders would become my life's work.

I figured it out. In 2007, I won Best of Class Manager.

A few years later, I joined Yelp as their first Account Manager, supporting the site's advertisers. Within 3 months, I'd proven the role and was asked to hire, train, and manage a team of AMs. That kicked off a 10-year run at Yelp: scaling Customer Success, leading global training, and becoming the go-to on product and ad delivery.

In 2018, I joined Opendoor as Head of Learning & Development, focused on management and leadership development. But something kept pulling me toward more.

In 2020, I founded Endurance Management Coaching and started my coaching certification. By January 2021, I'd left corporate and gone all-in on the work that energizes me most: people development.

In 2026, I published my first book, Fearless Feedback: Everything Managers Have Never Been Taught About Feedback — years of helping managers navigate hard conversations, distilled into one book. By September 2026, it had made me an award-winning author.

What People Are Saying

  • "Katie is a management genius! This course is great for seasoned and new managers. Katie was able to break all of her concepts up into bite sized, digestibility, actionable information. The workbook and concepts learned are something I'll be turning back to again and again. Thanks Katie!"

Holly K, Regional Lead at Yelp

  • "This class is definitely a winner!! I've been in Management for over 20 years and can never have enough tools in my tool box when it comes to working with people. Katie delivered a solid class that was helpful to all of the different management levels in our company. The discussions resonated with everyone and us all engaged. I would highly recommend."

    Julia S, Director

  • "I can't say enough positive things. Please bring Katie back to continue to train us on everything."

    Manager, eBay

  • "I’ve worked with exec coaches and many feel like they are reading from a manual or working from a textbook. It’s not specific enough to be valuable. Katie moves way beyond that - helping think through specific challenges of my role, my approach, my team. I have grown more working with Katie for 3 months than all of my other executive development work to this point."

Rob R, Head of City Operations, Opendoor

  • "Katie led us through a 3 day course on delivering feedback. During this time we picked up clear frameworks with obvious and immediate impact, had the opportunity to practice and workshop our own instances. These were invaluable, as they quickly turned theoretical ideas into a playbook that will help me, and I saw multiple versions of the same thing through the other participants -- compounding the learning. Katie herself has a positive energy, engages with everyone in ways that they can participate fully, and brings her own real world examples to bear. I would recommend this course to anyone who is managing folks whether they've been doing that for a long time or are new to it."

John D, Product & Community Strategy, Reddit

  • “The perspective switching exercises I did with Katie really reset my thinking. Just the first few sessions have already been a game-changer for my career.”
